Employees First Labor Law and WIN Personal Injury is a fast-growing, premier plaintiff-side labor & employment, workers' compensation, and personal injury law firm. We are looking for a Legal Assistant to assist the labor and employment department and to help the personal injury team for the firm. In this position you will be required to assist with all facets of the litigation process, from intake through trial/settlement.
Job Description:
- Assisting with Client Intakes.
- Assisting with Client Interaction and Management.
- Case Preparation and Filing.
- Preparing Discovery Requests.
- Assisting Attorney's with Motions and Discovery Responses.
- Case Calendaring.
- Providing Deadline Reminders.
- Other duties as Deemed Necessary.
Qualifications:
- Law firm experience preferred.
- Need someone curious and willing to learn.
- Needs to be organized and able to multi-task.
- Needs to be able to look for items to assist the litigation teams with and to work in a team setting and independently.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Flexible schedule, ability to work additional hours/weekends as necessary.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
Pay commensurate with experience.
